Already in 2001, after brewing my first homemade beer using a simple kitchen method, I knew there had to be a way to create a compact microbrewery that would enable any brewer — whether beginner or advanced — to craft their own unique beers with quality and flavor matching those found on store shelves.
As is well known, in Poland, producers are not required to follow the principles of the Reinheitsgebot — the historical “German Beer Purity Law” established in 1516 (and later amended). This law states that beer can be brewed only from water, barley, and hops (with yeast added to the list in 1906).
The concept behind my Garage Nanobrewery was born primarily out of opposition to what so-called “brewing corporations” offer consumers, and from the question of why their products are still called “beer.”
Over time, my project and its concept have continued to evolve. With each new batch, original recipes for various beer styles emerged — from wheat, rye, and ALE to different variations of IPA and APA.
I am pleased to share my own recipes with buyers of our equipment and even teach them how to brew beer using my proven methods.
The NANOBREWERY, in its “micro” or “nano” scale and compact construction, was created with agritourism farms, guesthouses, local communities, and individuals in mind — for those who wish to non-commercially craft their own original beers in a garage setting.
Thanks to its unique design, the NANOBREWERY can also be transported by a delivery vehicle. Moreover, customers who purchase our 150 L fermentation UNITANK can rent our 150 L steam-glycerin brewhouse, accompanied by a brewing assistant-instructor during the brewing process.
The versatility and uniqueness of our equipment are further demonstrated by the fact that the glycerin-jacketed brewing kettle can also be used successfully to produce rennet cheeses.
I believe that this nanobrewing equipment, with its professional and distinctive capabilities, will help revive and promote the brewing traditions of Warmia and Masuria — a region once famous for its numerous local breweries producing excellent beers.
